Just call me Minister

This past weekend a heartfelt dream of mine and something I’ve been working inwardly toward for the past three years, came true: I was ordained as a minister. It was one of the most deeply profound experiences of my life and touched a place inside that no external accomplishment ever has (or could).

I share about the process and the details of my experience in my vlog as well as offer you ways to start a ministry of your own – you do not need to be ordained to minister!

The specific message that came through for me as part of my ordination was to “partake in the blessing that I am and that is always available to me.”

I am SO blessed to do work that I love which also gives me the opportunity to love others. I see miracles everyday. People open their hearts and I get to see who they truly are. Compassion is a daily experience for me. It’s awesome.

And . . .

Sometimes I forget to partake in the blessings I offer others. Perhaps you can relate to ministering to your friends and family by showing up for them, acknowledging them, and loving them unconditionally. But then forget to extend all the same love and kindness to yourself.

I share my powerful reminder of how I had forgotten to minister to myself with you as an offering and encouragement to partake in the blessings that are all around you and that you are (hint: if you stop giving so much attention to all the things you don’t like or don’t have in your life, the blessings are easier to see).

A definition of a minister is simply: “to serve.” Serve yourself with love, acceptance, kindness and compassion and then extend that outwardly in simple ways each and every day.

More than anything else, we all want to love and be loved. Let this be your ministry: to love yourself and others and open your heart to be loved.

Much love and many blessings,
Christine
