Hello and happy holidays!!
This time of year is different for everyone. Some of you may be absolutely blissful – you love this season. Others of you may be struggling. Perhaps you feel alone. Or family dynamics are challenging. And some of you may be feeling a mix of both. You have moments of peace and joy; and other moments of loneliness, anxiety or even sadness.
Wherever you are is okay. Please remove the expectation that your holidays are supposed to be a certain way – otherwise you will gift yourself with an expectation hangover (Bah Humbug!)

And for anyone feeling a bit down this holiday season, please know you are not alone. Believe me, I’ve been there. But here is what I have learned: sometimes we learn the most about love when we are not feeling like we are receiving a lot of it from external sources. Those are the times where we have the opportunity to turn within, to nourish our relationship with Spirit and to truly practice self-love through the act of being gentle with ourselves.
Maybe this holiday season isn’t so much about gifts, or holiday parties, or kissing under the mistletoe. Maybe this is the year you gift yourself with acceptance. Both self-acceptance and acceptance of the way your life is right now.
My intention in sharing this meditation with you today is to remind you about what is most important not only this time of year but in every moment of every day, which is LOVE.
