WITH CHRISTINE HASSLER

Yesterday wasn’t my best day

Hi everyone,

I just scrapped the email I had intended to send you today that was a description of the tele-class I am teaching beginning March 7th.  Instead I am going to share with you what happened for me yesterday…

In the afternoon I attended a baby shower for one of my best friends.  The room was full of married women with children; I was one of the few unattached women there. Then out of the corner of my eye I saw someone walk in and felt myself overcome with emotion.  As some of you may know, my greatest mentor and teacher passed away unexpectedly in July, which was a huge loss for me and very challenging on many levels.  The woman I saw was her life partner, who I had not seen since the funeral.  We immediately went to each other, hugged and began to cry.  Seeing her, hearing her voice, and noticing Mona’s ring on her finger tore my heart up.  That’s the thing about grief…we move on with our lives, yet at times, we are reminded of the reality of the loss.  I spent the rest of the shower in a very tender place.  When I got home, coming home to an empty house felt emptier after having been at the baby shower.  I then headed straight up to my office because I had about three hours of work ahead of me only to discover that my internet was not working.  A call to Time Warner informed me that my modem was totally busted and there was nothing they could do until Wednesday.

That was it. I reached my breaking point. All I could do was hang up and just cry.

Fortunately, I know how important it is to allow myself to feel my feelings.  They don’t scare me because I know how to be with them and how to process them so that they can come up and out.  I know how to love myself despite anything that I may be experiencing.  I also feel such a strong connection to God and I can easily connect to the Divine even in moments where I feel totally lost. I have tools to pull myself through and out of feelings of sadness, anxiety, and loneliness – YES I have those feelings too! And I have co-created an amazing circle of supportive family and friends around me who serve as a 24/7 loveline so I always have someone I can reach out to.

I am so grateful that I know how to connect to love and experience love even when I don’t like what is happening in my life or what I am feeling.  And I am incredibly passionate about teaching you how to do the same.

And THAT is why I decided to co-create a course on self-love with my friend Christine Arylo (who also happened to be the person I reached out to last night for loving support).  I see TONS of suffering and pain around love, whether it be from relationships with others, lack of relationships, or relationship with ourselves.  And so many people know that Self-love matters, but they do not know how to really do it- especially on days when everything just feels hard.  My heartfelt commitment is to share with you how to experience love no matter what is going on in your life.

It is possible to create loving relationships – starting with the one with you.  We will teach you how to do it. You can read all about the program here.

Also, after receiving over 300 questions from our tele-calls this past week from people all over the world, we decided we couldn’t wait until March 7th to start addressing them all – so we got inspired to host ANOTHER FREE call where we will be answering the top questions we received about love and relationships.

Questions like:

?  How do I let go of a toxic, co-dependent relationship…when I still feel “love” for the person or they are a family member or life long friend?

?  How can I tell if I am pushing away the person I’ve been dating because it’s scary or because he just isn’t the right person for me? How can you tell the difference?

? I want to love myself, I really do, but how do I do that and do I have to love myself before I can find someone?

? What do I do when I feel sad or lonely? How can you be happy in love when you feel so down in the dumps?

? I’ve been hurt before and so I know I am protecting myself, but isn’t that a smart thing to do? How do I remain open without setting myself up for heartbreak or disappointment?
